San Anselmo

Historically known as a railroad hub linking Marin and San Francisco, San Anselmo has now become a node of activity.  Neighboring San Rafael, this small, creekside town is spotted with charming cafes, shops and lots of antique stores. Readers of the Pacific Sun newspaper voted San Anselmo the "Best Non-Mall Shopping Town" of Marin.  Hiking, biking, dining, and shopping are all within easy reach.
